Dr. Ashley Gallagher, our Chief of Staff, grew up and currently resides in Marblehead, Massachusetts. She received an undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and earned a DVM degree from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to joining the New England Veterinary Clinic & Pet Resort’s team, Dr. Gallagher practiced at Friendship Hospital for Animals in Washington, DC. Her special interests include surgery, preventive medicine, and behavior.

Thomas Allegrezza, DVMDr. Allegrezza has been practicing at New England Veterinary Clinic & Pet Resort since 2002. He grew up in Milford, Massachusetts, and currently lives in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Dr. Allegrezza received his undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 1992 and his DVM degree from Cornell University in 1998. After graduating from vet school he practiced at a small animal hospital in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands, and at a large animal practice in New Boston, New Hampshire.

Dr. Allegrezza is interested in canine and feline internal medicine and working together with his clients to provide a long lasting, healthy and enjoyable human-pet relationship. He spends his leisure time scuba diving, fishing (salt water, fresh water and ice fishing), camping, hiking, skiing, snow shoeing and kayaking! He also enjoys spending time with his friends, family and dog (a beautiful boxer mix named Pout).

Dr. Ingram has been part of the New England Veterinary Clinic & Pet Resort team since December 2010. Growing up in West Newbury, Massachusetts, she still resides there today. She earned her undergraduate degree from UMass Amherst in 2005 and then continued her studies at Tufts University, earning her DVM degree in 2009. Prior to joining us here, she has practiced at Main Street Animal Hospital in Bradford, Massachusetts.

Dr. Ingram has been a fantastic addition to the New England Veterinary Clinic & Pet Resort team. She has quickly become a favorite of our staff, clients and patients because of her excellent medicine and caring nature. Her medical interests include both small animal internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, canoeing, skiing and spending time with her pets — three adorable cats named Ennis, Oliver and Freddie.

Dr. Sun grew up in New Jersey and currently lives in Malden, Massachusetts. She earned an undergraduate degree from Boston College, and a veterinary degree from Tufts University. Before joining New England Veterinary Clinic & Pet Resort in July 2016, she practiced small animal medicine during a rotating internship in Sacramento, California. Her special interests include soft tissue surgery, internal medicine and feline medicine.

Dr. Micaela Mackie grew up in central Massachusetts and currently resides in Salem. She received an undergraduate degree from The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts and earned a BVMS degree from the University of Glasgow in Scotland. Prior to joining the New England Veterinary Clinic & Pet Resort team, Dr. Mackie practiced in southern New Hampshire. Her special interests include diagnostic imaging and internal medicine.

In her spare time, Dr. Mackie enjoys traveling, writing, and spending time with family and friends. She also cares for a mischievous lykoi cat at home.

Dr. Kayla Marco grew up in Winchester and currently resides in Woburn, Massachusetts. She received an undergraduate degree from Haverford College and earned a DVM degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining the New England Veterinary Clinic & Pet Resort team, Dr. Marco practiced at Riverside Veterinary Clinic. Her special interests include Internal medicine, preventative medicine, neurology, and dermatology.

Outside of the practice, Dr. Marco enjoys hiking, skiing, music, dance, spending time with friends and family, and watching TV. She has one dog named, Cody and a cat named, Ping.
