Julie Bergeron, DVM
Dr. Bergeron has been New England Veterinary Clinic's Chief of Staff since 2002. She grew up in Washington State and currently resides in Lynn, Massachusetts. She received both her undergraduate and DVM degrees from Washington State University. Since graduating from vet school in 1993, Dr. Bergeron has practiced at several hospitals in Massachusetts before joining us here. We feel so lucky to have such an outstanding and experienced Chief of Staff treating our beloved patients here at New England Veterinary Clinic!
Dr. Bergeron's interests within veterinary medicine include pocket pets and soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. She is a true asset to the New England Veterinary Clinic's team, providing outstanding care to all of her patients and their families. Outside of work Dr. Bergeron likes to hike, spend time at the beach, and enjoy outdoor activities with her three young children. Her family also includes two dogs, two cats and a chinchilla named Dusty.
Mary Pino, DVM
Dr. Pino has been an associate veterinarian at New England Veterinary Clinic since 2002. She is a native of Medford, Massachusetts, where she continues to reside. Dr. Pino received her undergraduate degree from Boston University in 1987 and her DVM from Ross University in 2000 and she joined us shortly after graduating. We are so pleased she chose to practice at New England Veterinary Clinic!
Dr. Pino's medical interests include emergency medicine and dermatology. She appreciates establishing close relationships with her clients and their pets. Dr. Pino spends her leisure time listening to music, playing sports, going to the theater and cooking. She also enjoys being with her friends and family as well as her two newly adopted Siamese cats, Noah and Sarah. These two siblings are filling her house with noise and joy!
Thomas Allegrezza, DVM
Dr. Allegrezza has been practicing at New England Veterinary Clinic since 2002. He grew up in Milford, Massachusetts, and currently lives in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Dr. Allegrezza received his undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 1992 and his DVM from Cornell University in 1998. After graduating from vet school he practiced at a small animal hospital in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands, and at a large animal practice in New Boston, New Hampshire.
Dr. Allegrezza is interested in canine and feline internal medicine and working together with his clients to provide a long lasting, healthy and enjoyable human-pet relationship. He spends his leisure time scuba diving, fishing (salt water, fresh water & ice fishing), camping, hiking, skiing, snow shoeing and kayaking! He also enjoys spending time with his friends, family and dog (a beautiful boxer mix named Pout).
Sarah Ingram, DVM
Dr. Ingram has been part of the New England Veterinary Clinic team since December 2010. Growing up in West Newbury, Massachusetts, she still resides there today. She earned her undergraduate degree from UMass Amherst in 2005 and then continued her studies at Tufts University, earning her DVM in 2009. Prior to joining us here, she has practiced at Main Street Animal Hospital in Bradford, MA.
Dr. Ingram has been a fantastic addition to the New England Veterinary Clinic team. She has quickly become a favorite of our staff, clients and patients because of her excellent medicine and caring nature. Her medical interests include both small animal internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, canoeing, skiing and spending time with her pets—three adorable cats named Ennis, Oliver and Freddie.
Jennifer Schwartz, DVM
Dr. Schwartz is from south central Pennsylvania and now resides in Woburn, Massachusetts. She completed her undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated with highest honors. Following graduation, she completed a small animal internship in Waltham, Massachusetts and fell in love with the Boston area. She moved back to Pennsylvania after her internship and worked at a high quality general practice hospital prior to moving back to the area she's missed since she left a few years ago.
Her professional interests are primarily in internal medicine, emergency medicine, and surgery. But above all, she enjoys building a trustworthy relationship with her clients to provide the best care and a long lasting, fulfilling human-animal bond. Dr. Schwartz has two dogs, Yancie (Boston Terrier) and Mica ("Coconut Retriever," a rescue from St. Kitts). In her free time, she enjoys salsa dancing and outdoor activities such as daily walks/runs with her dogs, boating/water sports, and horseback riding.
