Flea & Tick Prevention During Winter

Why is continued flea and tick prevention important in the colder months?

Pet Flea and Tick PreventionWe recommend extending your pet's flea and tick preventative all year round for the following reasons:

  1. During winter months we can have those off warm days where the fleas and ticks may awaken and attack your pets.

  2. Prevention of tape worms, which can be caused by fleas being ingested by your pet.

  3. Prevention of Lyme disease. Massachusetts is rampant with Lyme disease which is transmitted by ticks.
